Step 1: Take a visit to the Ennis Tourist Office and speak to Maria, Carmel or Paddy about all there is to do in Ennis and why Ennis was voted Ireland’s Friendliest Town!

Step 2: Go on a Walking Tour. Discover the famous and hidden gems of historic Ennis in just 1 hr 15mins. Tours begin daily at 10:45 am and depart from the O’Connell Monument in Ennis town center.

Step 3: Ennis is home to some of Ireland’s nicest restaurants. Taste local produce at the Rowan Tree, who offer a range of Irish dishes with a Mediterranean twist. Or, if you would like a more traditional pub feel, why not check out the Poet’s CornerBrogans, or Knoxs!

Step 4: After lunch, take a visit to the Old Ennis Abbey, which was built in the 13th century and is steeped in history.

Step 5: Ennis is the capital of Irish Traditional Music and it would be a shame to miss out on the musical pub scene the town has to offer. Traditional Irish music is available 7 days a week in pubs such as Brogans, Poets Corner, and Cruises.
