Ollie is a ball of energy and happy to help in any way. He adapted the pace to the needs of the group and took ample time. You never feel rushed. Therefore, it felt very attentive and personal. The walk is amazing and BY FAR a much better experience than visiting through the visitors centre, which was a stark contrast with what we saw. Be prepared for a medium strenuous walk of 8 km and don’t be afraid of heights. Loved it!
Yes, absolutely. You have two options: Option 1: We offer this tour from Galway also! Click here for more details. Option 2: The Bus Eireann route 350 departs from Galway early in the morning. You will arrive shortly before 10am right across the road from the tour meeting point. If the bus is late, don’t stress! Get in contact and we can wait up a few minutes.
The hike ends at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Center. Your guide will organize a bus/taxi for everyone to get back to Doolin.
The taxi costs a minimum of €30 or €5 per person if there are 6+ people in the group. You can pay this directly to the taxi driver on the day.
The hike is 8km (5 miles). It has some flat parts and some hilly parts. We hike at a nice, easy pace with plenty of stops for stories and pictures.
We recommend a moderate level of fitness.
There are restrooms at the start and the end of the hike however there are no restrooms en route.
